Rolfing® Structural Integration
Rolfing is a series of sessions geared to bring
natural balance back to the body. This is done by
hands-on movement of the fascia, or connective
tissue, that goes through, around, and attaches
muscles to bones.
It is in the lengthening and separating of this
fascia that allows for the body to better align
itself as it is the fascia that gives us our shape.
With better alignment comes better posture,
increased flexibility, and less body pain.
The title “Rolfing” came from its founder, Ida P.
Rolf who developed this linked group of sessions and
began teaching it to others in the 1960s.
